ALANOD's success story began in 1976. Today, its products are among the leading brands in the global market of anodised and PVD* coated aluminium coil.
ALANOD, whose products are used primarily in the lighting industry, took a quantum jump in 1994 when it developed MIRO®: with a total reflectivity of 95%, it increases the luminaire efficiency by more than 15%, and has today become the standard for efficient lighting solutions.
A few years later the company launched another world first with MIRO SILVER®: a new generation of PVD material with a total reflectivity of 98% in the total absence of interference colours. When used as a reflector in fluorescent lamps, MIRO - SILVER® impresses with its high luminaire efficiency, e.g. in high-bay warehouses. Today, ETAP uses MIRO Silver® reflectors as the basis for the most efficient luminaires and for outstanding energy-optimised lighting solutions that meet all criteria for good lighting.

Continuous optimisation
The environmentally conscious design and use of light against a background of limited resources requires continuous optimisation. These are the key objectives of both ALANOD and ETAP. It is no wonder, then, that ALANOD installed ETAP E5 light strips in its high-bay warehouses and assembly facility. The result: fewer luminaires provide clearly improved lighting comfort at a significantly reduced installed load. Such an investment has a very short payback time, as shown by the following example.
