Case study: Museu do Ar

Efficiency has grown wings

The Air Museum of the Portuguese Air Force (FAP) has moved to Sintra and has also changed its lighting scheme with more efficient and better design with ETAP.Schréder as their partner for functional and emergency lighting.
The lighting project had three guiding elements: Efficiency, Innovation and Quality. Based on these key elements, currently there are different concepts for each area of the museum. Singular designer light fixtures in the main areas, indirect lighting in the bar, fully embedded lighting in the hangars and LED lights in the hall dedicated to the Pioneers of the Portuguese Air Force. In all the areas of the museum, the lighting meets the regulatory standards and has the lowest possible power.
The end result is a work that certainly has met "the duty to remember".
